<description><![CDATA[Hi<br/>I just recently got a JetBlack Dyno. Seems it's basically the normal top model JetBlack fluid trainer, but with electronics to measure cadence, speed and power. Means that if you don't have the luxury of a cadence sensor already or a power meter already on your bike, then you can put any bike on the trainer and have those measures. And I'm loving training with power.<br/>Seems to me be be very well build and sturdy. Comes with a lifetime guarantee. Provides plenty of resistance. Nice and quiet with the soft roller. Easy to use quick release. <br/>The only think I would have liked would be to have the electronics ANT compatible, so that I could use my Garmin on it and use the Garmin software for training analysis. But hey, for $300 bucks, it's still exceptional value for a high quality trainer.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Oral health: Brush up on dental care basics<br/>Think you know everything about proper brushing and flossing techniques? Understand the basics and what you can do to promote oral health. <br/>By Mayo Clinic staff<br/> <br/>Your smile depends on simple dental care habits, such as brushing and flossing. But are you using the right techniques? Follow these steps to protect your oral health. <br/><br/>Brushing for oral health<br/>CLICK TO ENLARGE<br/> Brushing and flossing for oral health <br/>Oral health begins with clean teeth. Consider these brushing basics from the American Dental Association: <br/><br/>Brush your teeth at least twice a day. When you brush, don't rush. Take enough time to do a thorough job. Use the proper equipment. Use a fluoride toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush that fits your mouth comfortably. Consider using an electric or battery-operated toothbrush, especially if you have arthritis or other problems that make it difficult to brush effectively. Practice good technique. Hold your toothbrush at a slight angle against your teeth and brush with short back-and-forth motions. Remember to brush the inside and chewing surfaces of your teeth, as well as your tongue. Avoid vigorous or harsh scrubbing, which can irritate your gums. Keep your equipment clean. Always rinse your toothbrush with water after brushing. Store your toothbrush in an upright position, if possible, and allow it to air dry until using it again. Don't routinely cover toothbrushes or store them in closed containers, which can encourage the growth of bacteria. Know when to replace your toothbrush. Invest in a new toothbrush or a replacement head for your electric or battery-operated toothbrush every three to four months — or sooner if the bristles become frayed. Flossing for oral health<br/>You can't reach the tight spaces between your teeth or under your gumline with a toothbrush. That's why daily flossing is important. When you floss: <br/><br/>Don't skimp. Break off about 18 inches (46 centimeters) of dental floss. Wind most of the floss around the middle finger on one hand, and the rest around the middle finger on the other hand — leaving about 1 inch (3 centimeters) to floss your first tooth. Take it one tooth at a time. Use your thumbs and forefingers to gently pull the floss from the gumline to the top of the tooth to scrape off plaque. Rub the floss against all sides of the tooth. Unwind to fresh floss as you progress to the next tooth. Keep it up. If you have trouble getting floss through your teeth, try the waxed variety. If it's hard to manipulate the floss, use a floss holder or an interdental cleaner — such as a dental pick or stick designed to clean between the teeth. <br/><A href="http://blog.a-z-b.de/2013/03/18/oral-health-brush-up-on-dental-care-basics/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">oral health articles</a><br/><A href="http://grotonclassof69.com/2013/03/oral-health-brush-up-on-dental-care-basics/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">oral health articles</a><br/><A href="http://artlio.de/2013/03/18/oral-health-brush-up-on-dental-care-basics/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">oral health articles</a>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Daniel, you have two options to build strength in your legs 1) do squats and/or leg extension exercises in the gym or 2) do Strength Hill Repeats, 60rpm, on an easy consistent hill, say 5% grade or thereabouts.<br/><br/>I'd go for Option 2) cos the scenery is better<br/><br/>Here's what I do: 10min intervals on Old Freeway, 60rpm, stay seated. Roll back down and repeat...........start slowly because knee injuries can occur if you go too hard or your cadence is too low at the start, particulary if the muscles around your knee aren't developed enough to support this heavy workload. Do these sessions in private, then challenge the BIG guys to a Greenhill Road duel in a couple of months <br/><br/>(Jonathan, I'm not sure that 30rpm is gonna be good for Daniel's knees!)]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[This is a question for help in regards to improving my training so that I can actually be competitive in the short sharp climbs. I am 175cm and weight roughly 62-65kg so I can do well on the longer climbes such as Norton Summit, Greenhill etc but come short sharp climbs like on Montague road or Darley Road as you cross the river and head towards Holden Hill. This is all Adelaide climbs for those who don't recognise these climbs. I try to sprint up these climbs but quickly run out of puff so to speak and another rider weighing 20kg more than me just powers off and leaves me in his dust. He keeps asking why I'm letting him go and why I don't try harder? I just can't seem to generate any power <img src="images/smilies/upset.gif" border=0>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Hi Adam, Pete<br/><br/>Saw this post and had to reply. Jon Christoff was my very first cycling coach. There is a classic story I always refer to when Charlie Walsh first approached me when I was 16 about joining the AIS. Shayne Bannan who is currently the head cycling coach of Cycling Australia was also there along with Malcolm Morris (the National Team masseur) for quite some time. I told them I already had a coach (Jon) and wasn't interested. It took a couple of years before Charlie would speak to me again <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border=0><br/><br/>Jon was a very giving person who donated alot of his time to believing in me, coaching me tactics and training from his chair (he had a severe stroke) and setting me up on my first bike (a Christoff) which took me 6 months to pay off. Mrs. Christoff made all my clothing in her home and without them I would never have gotten as far as I did in cycling. Unfortunately Pete, Jon passed away more than 15 years ago now. He was a huge part of the sport in the early days having helped many up and coming cyclists like myself. <br/><br/>Adam, if you have a Christoff frame in good condition then you've got a real gem that is an iconic piece of South Australia's cycling history.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Hi Adam<br/><br/>I remember Jon Christoff used to live in Valley View (I think it was on Sturt Rd). His wife made cycling clothing and he made and built up bikes, generally high end stuff using Campag Record / Super record groupsets from memory. As a young lad back in the 80's I used to love going into his workshop / shop at the back of his property and checking out the different bikes he was building up for people. I'm not sure if he or his wife are still around. If they are they'd be getting on a bit now.<br/>edited by Peter Rainbow on 19/11/2012<br/>edited by Peter Rainbow on 19/11/2012<br/><em>edited by Peter Rainbow on 25/11/2012</em>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[In golf world, there is so much interesting for golfers. Choosing a right golf clubs is so important for them, especiallly the irons. Now, I want to introduce the most straight callaway i-bird to you. Hope this could help you.<br/><br/>Callaway has made a lot of breakthrough all over the years, and this time, it makes another one, this <A href="http://www.golfclubs4us.com/goods-68-Callaway-FT-i-Brid-Irons-3-9PS.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">callaway i brid irons</a>. It is not that cheap for you to buy a Callaway FT i-Brid Iron, but at discount golf equipment, you could make it. The higher irons in this set were fine as expected, but I struggle hitting the low irons so I was eager to try the "I-brids". The Callaway FT i-brid Iron Set has mulit-material construction allows weight to be shifted for optimal performance. <br/><br/>As a result of the lack of feel and convex face I sprayed my hits all over. So I will stick with my <A href="http://www.golfclubs4us.com/goods-68-Callaway-FT-i-Brid-Irons-3-9PS.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">callaway ft i-brid iron set</a> and will try the Big Bertha I brids. I won't be keeping the FT I brids. Truely, they are very forgiving and easy to hit, so if you struggle with normal irons then these could be the ones for you. The feel was surprisingly good and at address they looked OK despite extra weight at the back of the head. At first glance you might think that the irons Callaway FT i-brid are high only for jockey. <br/><br/>Callaway FT i-brid iron set blend the control and accuracy of irons with the forgiveness, distance and versatility of hybrids. The <A href="http://www.golfclubs4us.com/goods-63-Callaway-Big-Bertha-Diablo-Irons-3-9PS.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">callaway big bertha irons</a> are thought to be Fusion Technology irons that appeal to mid to low handicap players. The look of the FT irons is more standard, but the set includes many technological inventions. The FT Irons are Callaway's 2008 line of technologically advanced golf clubs. Golfers have their choice of graphite, steel, or Dynalite shafts.<br/><br/>The <A href="http://www.golfclubs4us.com/goods-63-Callaway-Big-Bertha-Diablo-Irons-3-9PS.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">big bertha irons</a> set features hybrid-like 3-4-5 irons to replace hard-to-hit long irons and game-improvement short irons, combining to provide the ultimate in forgiveness and playability. Its TPU SenSert in the back decreases unwanted vibration and provides a solid feel.<br/><br/>In terms of target audience, the <A href="http://www.golfclubs4us.com/goods-63-Callaway-Big-Bertha-Diablo-Irons-3-9PS.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">big bertha callaway irons</a> are generally aimed more at the mid to low handicap golfer, who already plays a decent and tidy golf game. Do you think this equipment are fit for you?]]></description>

Although an “MX,” they’re not for the weekend or casual players; you need to be a decent ball-striker to get the best out of them as they aren’t hugely forgiving.<br/><br/>Single digit guys and girls may give them a whirl but are more likely to choose an MP iron for the added workability.<br/><br/>So although the Mizuno MX-300 could be in danger of having an identity crisis, Mizuno is confident that they fill a niche that lies between the shadowy boundaries of low and mid handicaps<br/><br/>Now I fit right in when it comes to the type of player that Mizuno are aiming the<A href="<a href="http://www.buygolfhere.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.buygolfhere.com/</a>Mizuno-MX-200-Irons-UK-242.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Mizuno MX-200 Irons</a> s at. Blades are a slightly distant dream but I want a little more finesse than a wide soled game improver. These look just the ticket. They have a slim top line, beautifully proportioned head size and a drop dead gorgeous chrome finish. <br/>More golf equipment please go <a href="http://www.buygolfhere.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.buygolfhere.com/</a>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[The Superfast 2.0 Driver offering the golf enthusiast greater stability<br/><br/>The <A href="<a href="http://www.golfwholesaleorder.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.golfwholesaleorder.com/</a>cheap-TaylorMade-Burner-20-Irons-sale-1131.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">TaylorMade Burner 2.0</a> series has been carefully designed by Taylormade to offer greater distance with lesser input of power. It does well in meeting its objective while at the same time offering the golf enthusiast greater stability, lower revolutions, and lower drag. It’s light weight also helps a great deal in generating a greater amount of power. Additionally, the head of the Superfast 2.0 is built to be light and this provides greater accuracy with a bigger sweet spot. The head also creates a higher launch angle, which some may not prefer.<br/><br/>So there is no denying that, among the many advantages the Superfast 2.0 Driver offers, greater distance is the most noticeable. The good length of the club, 46 and a half inches to be precise, offers good power on occasions the ball does not meet the sweet spot of the club head. This makes it a popular choice for amateur golfing enthusiasts who have a higher tendency for off-center hits. <A href="<a href="http://www.golfwholesaleorder.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.golfwholesaleorder.com/</a>cheap-Ping-K15-Driver-sale-1128.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Ping K15 Driver</a><br/>The Club Head – The club head is deliberately designed to be big and deep to provide a higher launching angle and lower revolutions on the ball. The head helps the ball greatly in its carry and working in collaboration with the other dynamics of the Superfast 2.0 driver, it ensures greater stability, higher power, and greater distance traveled.<br/><br/>Head Shape – TaylorMade has also done a lot of research on the club head of the Superfast series and this is evident in the Inverted Cone face technology that it has developed. This face of the club head has been designed such that the chance of missing the sweet spot will be a rarity.<br/>More golf equipment please go <a href="http://www.golfwholesaleorder.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.golfwholesaleorder.com/</a>]]></description>
