I love this kid.
After winning tonight on a slight uphill, the interviewer (another Pom) says to him "Lots of people said this finish wasn't for you". Cavendish looks puzzled and replies "Who? Foreigners or something?"
That'll get the French going :-)

He's scary awesome. The Commontaters were suggesting that Cav could win 30 stages in his career... Big call.

Cavendish is a huge talent but then there's Bradley Wiggins , he may not be kissing the podium girls as yet but he is churning out some amazing wattages day after day , hour after hour ... shame he's not on Cadels team !

Wiggins said the other day that he's doing so well because he's been riding his bike more and eating less.
So there you go, there's nothing to it - we can all make some money out of this cycling thing :-)

i just read cavendish's book 'boy racer' . easy to read book.
cav said in his book, i dont eat meat or drink milk and he said something about it making you fat, sapping your energy and clogging your lungs..
slowly, slowly the worlds elite athletes are starting to make some nutritional connections that make logic..
