The ergo from BT is by far the best. Expensive, but worth the $ if you are serious.

Did you buy one? I am looking at the Kurt Kinetic Road Machine. In fact, have ordered one...

Where did you order the Kurt Kinetic through? They look like the kind of trainer I am after as I want to be able to train and watch TV at the same time and the other types of trainers (mag/wind) are far too loud.

Safety, won't be out as long and more time to spend with you (and kids if the case), I will be fitter and do my rides quicker, look better as I will be super-fit.... :-)

Purchased the TACX Satori which is also reviewed in May-June edition of Bicycling Australia. The review quoted a price of $750.00. I paid just over $300.00 which included the postage and 3-4 days for delivery. Took about 20 minutes to set up and has been fantastic, particularly on a rainy day when you can go for a ride and watch the footy . I like the resistance lever as you can leave in any selected gear you like and simply operate the resistance lever to change your level.

The ride is very smooth. You can adjust resistance levels from the computer you can mount on your handlebars to simulate hill climbs.
$600 is a great price considering the trainers features and RRP and the fact that is hardly used.

Hey guys!

I'm selling my BT Ergo. It's by far the best Ergo available, used by the AIS as well as riders such as O'Grady, Bobridge, Rogers etc.

If you'd like more info you can see it here http://www.cycle2max.com/sale-item.aspx?id=133 or email me at christos@freshenterprises.com.au

I'm more than happy to negotiate a good price.

Cheers!

+1 for the kurt, I've been using it for about 3 years now and I cant fault it. If that is in the price range your looking for go for it I say. I've had no isssues although I have heard of some breaking the plastic winding handle, but all fixed under warrenty. Very simple and your gears are the set resistance and you have loads of resistance.
