There will be a fund raising night on September 11 to celebrate the launch of a documentary called "Shining His Star". The doco is the story of Sam Roberts and Cycle 4 Sam. Sam passed away 2 months short of his 5th birthday in 2005. In his memory, a charity bike ride called "Cycle 4 Sam" has been established. 2 epic bike rides later and over $200,000 has been raised for the Paediatric Palliative Care Service of the Women's and Children's Hospital. The doco features superb cycling footage through the Flinders and Mt Lofty Ranges and Kangaroo Island. The fund raising night, which includes silent auctions, raffles, fine wines and cheeses swill be held at Pembroke School, in DY Hall.
