Started legitimately on the parade, so not sure how that stacks up. Pretty happy though

Loved the ride .... excellent up through the Gorge .. havnt ridden that before and loved it ... Dont recommend Checker again ... didnt like it .. but gave it a go..... bout half way up thought better of it and walkedgiven another 100kms to go plus a ride bck to car ........ Felt good after ride.

Think the organisers need to consider starting the shorter rides earlier to avoid the "bumping of heads" as the longer ride catches up. We were going fine after starting from Norwood all the way till we started collecting the shorter ride riders. Then carnage everywhere. A rather portly gentlemen (not the words I used at the time) managed to toss me off my bike onto the bitumen as I went around him and he kept riding .... Not happy.

Passed him again but held my tongue.

My two cents worth.

I started dead last at the parade and rode thru everyone to catch up to some mates along the way. Rode back. 200k for the day. Great weather for it definitely. A mate of mine road a 30kg black dutch bike the WHOLE distance. Anyone see him?
