Welcome to King of the Bollards...
The concept is simple.
Meet: carpark near the tollgate
When: Saturday 14th January (first Saturday of TDU)
Time: Morning (exact time TBA)
Start: Intervals (every 30 seconds?)
Finish: As you cycle through bollards
Timing: utilise electronic similar to City to Bay
Prizes: Subject to sponsorship/donations (fastest time wins)
Categories: depending on number of entrants (age groups + pro v amatuer)
Entry Fee: minor fee to cover costs of running event (+ insurance etc)
Sound like a good way to start the TDU week? A great way to warm up for Ride Like Crazy the next day....?
All it takes is enough interested people. Then it's on...
