Training to go faster up hills
|
Ok, so has anyone got any ideas on what's best to go faster up hills? Is it better to focus on weight loss or increasing power output?

Old training data and profile?
|
Yes when we moved the old data to the new website we found duplicate profiles which would have caused the problems. We tried to bring most of them across to the new format, but there may be some that are missing. Can you please email admin@cycle2max.com with your name you used to use to logon to the old site, your email address and password we will endeavour to find your missing information and bring it across to the new site. Thanks!

What do you eat?
|
Here at admin we live on meat pies, chocolate eclairs, iced coffee, a little alcohol (ok... alot!) and the occasional diet coke cause we're on a diet but we were just wondering what is the perfect food to eat out on a ride?

Hi Guys,
We added in some new functionality to integrate with the Australian Sports Commission’s National Talent Identification and Development program which seems to be causing the problem. We will fix this up now so it doesn't happen again.
Thanks.

Query re old climb data
|
Hi Rob,
Thank you for the feedback. With the change over of information from the old website to the new website there were a few problems with profiles and we tried to bring them across as best as possible, but unfortunately we did have a few problems importing them. We have now merged your profile into just the one.
Thanks, the team at c2m. edited by Admin on 28/01/2009

Hi Andy,
For some some reason the Barracuda Spam Filter was blocking all emails to admin@cycle2max.com which they are fixing at the moment. Can you please send it to admin@cycle2max.com.au as this definitely works at the moment.
Thanks.

Spam private messages
|
Hi Guys,
We have now suspended the account sending out the messages, however there is no guarantee they will not rejoin the website and send out more.
If you notice any more of these spam / phising emails please report email the details to admin@cycle2max.com.
Thanks,
The team at c2m.

How to calculate hill gradient
|
Hi Everyone,
The gradient was imported from the old website, but we have now updated it to 9.4%
If either the Climb or Distance that calculates the gradient (Climb / Distance * 100) are wrong or if the description on the ride needs to be more detailed as to the starting point please let us know.
Thanks,
The team at c2m

Course Editor not working very well at all

Hi Guys,
That is strange. It uses the Google API so there must be a few issues with it. We will investigate and let you know once fixed.
Thanks.

Inappropriate content on Forum
|
Hi Ross,
Unfortunately these people are signing up to C2M as legitimate members, therefore it is hard to block them until after they have posted something with spam/advertisements.
We are doing our best to check back regularly and remove these sorts of comments, and we are also working on a way to try to eradicate this issue altogether. We appreciate your patience and hope that you can still enjoy C2M. Thanks for sticking with us Ross!

Has anybody been contacted by....
|
Hey All!
Yes, we've noticed the same messages coming through - we received 6 of them to the Admin Account! We've deleted the user so hopefully that will fix the problem.
The beauty of Cycle2max is that users can login and send messages, post in forums and register riding times all without waiting for a moderator to approve them. Unfortunately this also means that every now and again, spammers who have the time and inclination to fill out our Registration Form have the ability to post spam in our forums, and even privately message other members.
We do our best to keep on top of these things, but as this is a volunteer based community site we have very few resources to monitor and moderate the site - if anyone is interested in helping out please let us know!
In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and we do hope that you continue to enjoy Cycle2max.
