Well, I've gone and done it now. I have posted my road bike for sale. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I actually love the bike, I just want something a little more suited towards my style of riding. I am not a racer and I don't need a racing bike. I bought it 2004 for $2500; and since then, I have upgraded to an Ultegra drive train, Ultegra Shifters, plus a R550 wheelset. So here is some info on the bike…

The bike has just undergone a full drive train service. All the gears have been cleaned and checked, and they pretty much look brand new! It has been kept indoors for the entirety of its lifetime, and I have tried my best to keep away from rainy riding. It has been meticulously taken care of; cleaned after every ride, regularly serviced and replaced drivetrain parts.
The Ultegra groupset is lightweight, and extremely precise. The chain and cassette have been replaced recently. It shifts cleanly in all the gears, and has plenty of k’s left. I’ve also replaced the handlebar tape. If your looking for a complete road bike package, this is the one for you. All you will need is a helmet, and you can begin riding – no fussing about with accessories.
